Viva Frida runs on level 2 of Malba from 20 September 2026 to 15 March 2027. It was organised by Semana de la Alta Costura Argentina and the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico, under the direction of Elina Costantini, and curated by Circe Henestrosa.
The show places dress and self-representation at the centre of Kahlo's work. Garments, orthopaedic corsets, jewellery, photographs, letters and archive material are hung alongside paintings from the Malba Costantini collection.
