Tiempo Argentino reports that the 51st edition of the book fair will take place at La Rural from 22 April to 10 May 2027. Spain is the guest of honour, following Peru in 2026, and the writer and journalist Martín Caparrós is to give the inaugural speech.
The city tourism page for the 2026 edition describes the fair as the best attended publishing and literary event in the Spanish-speaking world, held over three weeks across several pavilions at La Rural. That page notes a free-entry night with an extended closing time during the fair.
